Delivery

How long it takes

Every product is made by hand in small batches at Darracott Farm.

Dispatch. We dispatch Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays. Standard orders go out the next dispatch day. Order Express before midday and it goes out the same day, otherwise it goes out the next one.

Most things are in stock. If what you have ordered is not, we make it for you, and we dispatch within five working days of your order. We will email you if that applies to your order. Express speeds up the delivery, not the making.

Delivery, once it is with the carrier. Royal Mail delivers Monday to Saturday.

  • Standard, 2 to 4 working days
  • Express, usually the next day, Saturday included

So an Express order placed on Friday morning is dispatched that day and usually arrives on Saturday. One placed on Friday afternoon is dispatched on Monday and arrives on Tuesday.

We send everything by Royal Mail Tracked, so you can follow it the whole way and you will get a photo when it is delivered.

We will always tell you if something is going to take longer than this.

Where we deliver

We deliver across the United Kingdom. We do not currently ship outside the UK.

Some parts of the UK

Royal Mail does not publish a delivery target for Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, or parts of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Your parcel is tracked the whole way and costs exactly the same as anywhere else, but we cannot promise a date for these areas. You will get the tracking number the moment it is dispatched, and if it takes longer than it should, email us and we will find out where it is.

The postcodes Royal Mail lists are AB30 to 38, AB41 to 45, AB51 to 56, AB99, all BT, DD8 to 10, DG7 to 9, FK8, FK15 to 21, HS, IV, KA27 and 28, KW1 to 17, PA20 to 38, PA41 to 80, PH10 and 11, PH13 and 14, PH17 and 18, PH19 to 44, PH49 and 50, TD15, TR21 to 25, IM and ZE.

What it costs

  • Standard delivery, £5.99. Arrives 2 to 4 working days after dispatch.
  • Standard delivery, free on orders over £40
  • Express delivery, £7.99. Usually arrives the next day, Saturday included.
  • Express delivery, free on orders over £80
  • Local delivery, free on orders over £20. Allow up to a week.

If you are in one of the postcodes below and your order is over £20, delivery is free and we bring it to you. Allow up to a week.

Collection

You are welcome to collect from Darracott Farm by arrangement. Choose free local delivery at checkout, then phone 01288 272800 or email store@biotaderm.com to arrange a time.

If something goes wrong

If your order has not arrived when it should have, email store@biotaderm.com and we will find out where it is. Where no delivery time has been agreed, we will deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest.
