Cookie Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website puts on your device so it can remember something. Some are essential. Most are not, and those need your permission before they run.

This policy covers cookies and the technologies that work like them, including pixels, tags and local storage. We refer to all of them as cookies here.

Welcombe Skincare Ltd, trading as Biotaderm, is responsible for the cookies described below. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13451607 at Darracott Farm, Welcombe, Devon EX39 6HG, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB377476.

Your choice

When you first visit biotaderm.com you are asked whether to accept cookies that are not strictly necessary. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and rejecting does not stop you shopping.

You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is remembered for six months, after which we ask again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout working.

The three kinds we use

Strictly necessary. These make the shop function: keeping items in your basket, keeping you signed in, getting you through checkout securely, and remembering your cookie choice. They do not need your consent, because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics. These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they leave, so we can make the site better. They run only if you accept them.

Advertising. These let us measure whether our advertising works, and let us send you a reminder if you leave something in your basket. They run only if you accept them.

Who these providers are

The companies above set cookies through our site and process the information they collect under their own terms. Their privacy notices explain what they do with it.

Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where information moves abroad, the transfer is covered by a UK adequacy decision or by approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so it keeps the protection it has here.

What happens if you say no

The shop works exactly as it does otherwise. You can browse, order and check out. We simply see less about how the site is used, and our advertising is measured less precisely. That is our problem rather than yours.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies and honour it automatically.

Changes

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
